Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that consists of a specific series of powerful postures that focuses on increasing strength, flexibility, and concentration of the mind. In the Ashtanga Mysore class, the sequence will be taught one-on-one as a self-practice. It will not be a traditional led class.

You will be carefully guided by a teacher through the series of poses step by step, and at your own pace. By learning to practice on your own, you create the opportunity to cultivate a regular self-practice and learn to observe and connect with your body on a deeper level.

No experience or prior knowledge of Ashtanga yoga is required, just some curiosity and a willingness to learn and eventually practice on your own.

Join Enrico from Monday to Friday at 7am at our Stadionweg location to work on your self practice. Is 7am a bit too early for you? No worries, you can also join our weekly evening lesson at our Aalsmeerweg location every Monday at 8pm for a traditionally led class.

Enrico started the exploration of the connection among body, mind, and soul through a deep, steady, and traditional practice of Astanga Vinyasa Yoga.
During these years of practice through India and Greece, where his teachers live, he became interested in Vipassana Meditation, and the study of Ayurveda and Vedic Philosophy.
After becoming a Second Level Reiki practitioner, he has further deepened his search for mind-body balance through Shiatsu: a traditional Japanese massage acting on the body in many levels: physical and subtle.

Info & Prices

• Students can arrive at the school between 7 and 7:30, depending on their needs, level, and practice. It is important to leave not later than 8:30 due to morning group lessons so make sure you arrive with enough time for yourself.

• If you're new to Ashtanga yoga, you will work directly with the teacher and be guided into the series one pose at a time. Your practice will then be built gradually, based on this sequence of poses. One step at a time.

• If you are already familiar with part of the primary series of Ashtanga please inform the teacher of any injuries or health concerns you may have and just feel free to start your practice.

• You may try a Mysore lesson using any of the passes we offer. However, If you decide to attend more than once per week you should purchase a 1 Month Mysore pass instead.

• For the other Ashtanga lessons on the schedule you may use any of our passes and memberships.
